Mondays

Monday is a house cleaning day. This is when Haylee loves to tell me two things..."Mom, no one is in charge." She's basically telling me that I can't tell her what to do. And the other is.."Mom, I love living in a dirty house." I love her. Seriously, how funny is that?

In the Eyes of My Two Year Old

As I was making lunch today,
Lindsay opened the fridge and took out the bottle of Pedialyte,
which I use for fevers, vomiting and most recently, diarrhea.

She handed the bottle to me and said,
"I have diarrhea. Mom, I sick."

She said it a few times and when I didn't give it to her she stopped.

Ten minutes later, as we sat down to eat,
she handed me the bottle again and forcefully said,
"Mom, I want diarrhea!"

It must be that good.
