Kids Say The Darndest...

Rusty wanted to say the prayer the other day
and I was going to help him like usual
but instead he busted out with his own prayer.
Not a memorized prayer
because he was saying his own stuff:

"Thankful for Jesus.
Be nice.
Share.
I didn't do it.
Name Jesus
Amen."

Where did that come from and what didn't he do?

Corn on the Cob

I remember nights on Evergreen......summer nights. It was pretty great. Sometimes my mom would come home with those brown paper grocery bags full of corn. I remember helping shuck the corn and I thought it was great. I remember eating corn on the cob and thinking it was the best. But it wasn't the best. The best is that my kids get those same memories. They will remember summer nights on Pepper Place, eating corn on the cob and loving it. That's awesome!
