Book Review

"It's Not About the Bike -- My Journey Back to Life"
by Lance Armstrong

To be honest, I couldn't put it down. Well, maybe that's putting it a bit too strong. I was interested enough in the book to finish it and I finished fairly quickly, which isn't always the case. I leave a lot of books halfway through, but this book was interesting. It's about Lance Armstrong for Pete's sake.

The book was sometimes sluggish. Also, I don't really care for his personality...I don't think we'd be friends because by the end of the book I realized that I really can't stand him. :) The last sentence in the book is absolutely cheesy! That was kind of a let down. :) But it's his story told by him and I'll say it again, I found it interesting. So whether your interest is in cancer or cycling or just in reading, it's an okay book but not a must-read.

Side note: He uses the f-word several times for those who care. I do.
