Winter Sing 2010

This is the best picture that I could get of Haylee at the annual Winter Sing. Twice a year the school performs. Their amazing music teacher Mr. Fincher teaches songs to the whole school and each grade performs. It's pretty cool.


Haylee performs how she always has, completely stone faced and inanimated. I love it. I put her in a little singing group when she was five. She would come home and sing all the songs just fine. When they had their performance she stood there and stared with a frown, the whole time, and didn't sing one word. Not one. Let alone perform any of the actions. It was hilarious. She sings now but it's nothing like what she does at home. She sings almost constantly. I don't even think it's stage fright. I don't know what it is but when I watched her again this year I just kept thinking about Miss Jenie's class and her first performance ever. I love her.
